Indian Monsoon Prediction 2024. On april 15, the indian meteorological department (imd) forecasted a 31 percent chance of an above normal 2024 southwest monsoon. Isolated extremely heavy rainfall very likely over coastal andhra pradesh & yanam, south odisha, south chhattisgarh on 19th and over vidarbha and telangana on 19th & 20th july.
